Consultation Process

The philosophy behind Bayview Plastic Surgery is to educate our patients, so that they may obtain the very best results. This information-centered philosophy defines our consultation process.

Your first contact with our office: Patient Counselors are available to you by phone or by email. You may request a customized information packet and set an appointment to meet with Dr. Rich, at your convenience. Patient Counselors are also able to address any questions that you may have.

Dr. Rich's Consultation: Dr. Rich will meet with you to discuss the procedures or services that are of interest to you.  She encourages an open, comfortable dialog, that will address any questions or concerns that you may have. Dr. Rich may use illustrations to demonstrate surgical techniques, to give you a clear understanding of how the surgical plan will affect your overall result.

With the Patient Counselor: The Patient Counselor will be your liaison throughout the consultation process, starting with your first phone call. After meeting with Dr. Rich, the Patient Counselor will show you our extensive before and after photo gallery, and explain how those photos relate to your customized surgical plan. She will also provide the most up to date surgical availabilities, cost of surgical packages, and financing programs. You can choose a surgery date at that time or you may call in at a later date and reserve your surgery date by phone. We invite patients to return for second consultation to obtain additional information, if they wish.
