Dr. HustakDr. Kristi Hustak, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Hustak was born on an Apache Indian Reservation in Whiteriver, Arizona. Her mother worked as a surgical first assist for an aesthetic plastic surgeon, and Dr. Hustak, at age 14, eagerly watched her first surgery. This sparked her passion for the field. Dr.Hustak’s training started in Ohio where she lived for 8 years. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with Distinction in Medical Technology from The Ohio State University in 2004. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2008, Dr. Hustak married her best friend and classmate, Dr. Erik Hustak, and settled in Texas. For 6 years, Dr. Hustak excelled in a highly competitive integrated plastic surgery program at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas. While there, she was awarded Top Plastic Surgery Resident, nominated for Outstanding Annual UTMB resident, won the Golden Scalpel Award for Surgical Excellence, and won the first ever Outstanding Resident Leadership Award. Upon graduation, she was recruited to join the Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery (ACPS). Dr. Hustak’s commitment to excellence in the field of plastic surgery is evident. She is a local and national authority on female genital rejuvenation and “complete” mommy makeovers, and is a sought after speaker for local and national conferences. She has developed several innovative techniques in the field and continues to write and publish, along with her ACPS colleagues, on ways in which to make procedures better and safer for patients. She is a clinical professor in plastic surgery and trains residents and fellows from several local academic medical centers in the Houston area. Dr. Hustak is a loving wife and mother. Her husband is an academic anesthesiologist, specializing in cancer pain management. Together they have three beautiful children that enrich their lives daily. With her family’s love and support, Dr. Hustak is committed to utilizing her talents to rejuvenate your body and restore form and function, while refreshing your soul through the art of plastic surgery.

 

Dr. WentworthDr. Wentworth

Dr. Wentworth, a native of Houston, Texas, was born in Pasadena and grew up in the area, graduating from Sam Rayburn High School. From a young age, she knew she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. Her mother worked as an administrative assistant for UT Houston at LBJ Hospital, where Dr. Wentworth spent many summers, gaining insight into the role of a doctor and helping others. Inspired by a female OB/GYN doctor she admired, Dr. Wentworth completed high school in three years through night school to pursue her dream. She attended Texas State University on a scholarship from the Houston Livestock Show in Rodeo, where she was introduced to research and graduated with honors. Dr. Wentworth’s passion for medicine led her to attend medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, and complete a prestigious general surgery residency at the University of California San Diego. Following her residency, she pursued additional plastic surgery training at the University of Illinois Chicago before starting her private practice in Harlingen, Texas. Dr. Wentworth has since developed a deep appreciation for aesthetic plastic surgery and facial plastic surgery, cherishing the opportunity to restore confidence to women of all shapes and sizes. She is dedicated to providing safe, effective, and satisfying procedures while treating all patients like family members.

During her time in private practice, Dr. Wentworth developed a deep appreciation for perioperative education for patients, emphasizing the importance of patient education and empowerment. She believes in providing patients with comprehensive information to ensure they feel confident and informed throughout their surgical journey. Dr. Wentworth’s research experience and diverse surgical training have equipped her with the skills and knowledge to provide a multifaceted approach to patient care, with a focus on preoperative nutrition and postoperative recovery. She is committed to addressing the emotional and physical aspects of plastic surgery, emphasizing the importance of clear communication and shared decision-making between patients and their surgeon. Dr. Wentworth’s personal experiences and dedication to patient care make her a valuable asset to the field of plastic surgery.
